Pelo is Beautiful / Rendibú
Raw, hairy and wild. That’s how a bear bares all, and that’s how the promotional campaign for the biennial Rendibú 2014 Multimedia Arts competition turned out. A nude that symbolises the possibility of ignoring the impositions of others that stop us from being spontaneous and authentic.
These qualities are captured in a series of photographs starring real human bears, male and female: hairy people who show off their body hair without hang-ups and act on instinct.
