brand strategist & copywriter
I spent 5 years of my life in the School of Industrial Engineering for a crime I didn’t commit.
I got into advertising for the drugs, but I arrived late and they’d run out. I stayed for the laughs and for that whole “inventing the future” thing.
I once managed to move María Belón, the real-life survivor from The Impossible, with a single line. That was at Germinal, where we revolutionised social-cause communication in Spain with hits like Pills Against Other People’s Pain.
After crossing Vietnam on an ’89 Honda CG, I was recruited by PlayGround on a mission to create ephemeral pieces more attractive than Miguel Bosé’s eyeliner. “I have 2 seconds to grab your attention”, I repeat in my sleep. The obsession.
Already in rehab, I created a web series for YouTube starring a Taliban pig from the Royal Spanish Academy. I don’t do it for the views, but for the love of the art.
Today I survive as a creative soldier of fortune in search of the perfect storytelling: the kind that holds what the audience thinks but never said out loud.
If you don’t know what to say, and even less how to say it, maybe you could hire me.
